The Ultimate Fighter 4

The Ultimate Fighter 4
This season Dana threw in a twist, this time the competitors aren't rookies looking to break into the UFC, instead they have assembled a cast that includes veterans like Shonie Carter, Matt Serra, and Chris Lytle. To follow along with the new competitors is a new Coachless format. The teams do not have coaches, infact the teams were drawn at random as each fighter picked a jersey from a box.

Instead of team coaches Dana brought in GSP and Randy Couture to help them train. Also instead of waiting until the end of the season to see the coaches either fight one another or fight each other on a double card, this time we will see the two winners face off against the Middle and Light Heavyweight Champions.

The show was summed up pretty well as one of the competitors commented how annoying it was that the TUF competitors would walk in next to them and now one would have any idea who they were and they had been in the UFC for 5 years.

I for one am excited about everything this season.

But I still miss the Right Guard challenges, the moment where Luke wrapped up two opponents and allowed his team to win a challenge still stands out in my head as an application of MMA skills to different types of challenges.
